"Taking a Swing at Diabetes" will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Red Rock Country Club/Arroyo Course in Las Vegas, NV. The proceeds from this tournament fund Camp Vegas. Camp Vegas is the only diabetes education resident camp program for children and teens ages 7-17 living with type one diabetes in Southern Nevada. This action-packed week has the campers participating in daily diabetes education, physical fitness activities, sports, games, arts and crafts, skit making, music, dance, friendly competitions between cabins, and other interactive activities that promote collaboration and team building. Above all, camp fosters a sense of acceptance and belonging. It encourages the campers to establish bonds of friendship that extend beyond the time spent at camp.
