Dear Friend of Hospice Niagara,

Every person deserves a vibrant and beautiful life, from beginning to end.
Hospice Niagara helps people live well from the time they are diagnosed with a
life-limiting illness, in the final days and weeks of life, and while grieving a death.
All our programs and services are free, including care in the hospice residence
for people in their final days of life.

The success of our fundraising events is vital to being able to provide this
service in Niagara. Would you consider donating an item or gift card to one
of our signature fundraising events?

Taste for Hospice Niagara is an exciting wine and culinary experience, taking
place on Thursday, Sept. 5, at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area. The event welcomes
more than 600 guests and features award-winning wines, ciders and craft beer,
local chefs’ creations, food trucks and live music.

Each of these events features a silent auction and a fun (and very popular)
game we call Get Corked, in which people draw a numbered cork
or tee to win a corresponding gift bag with donated prize inside. In-kind
donations for these activities would be appreciated:

Silent auction — Donation valued at $100+. Business name appears on a
framed sign identifying the item as well as the bid sheet.

Get Corked/Get Teed — One or more donations valued at $25+.

Business card is displayed on a Thank You Board and placed in the gift bag.
All money raised stays local to help provide people and families in Niagara
the high quality care, compassion and dignity they need and deserve.
