On November 4th, YWCA New Britain is hosting a Tour and Tasting Gala and AUction, highlighting four travel destinations with food, beverages and decorations. The evening also includes dinner, photo booth, dancing, live and silent auction.

YWCA New Britain serves over 4,000 women and families each year. Our offerings include Family Literacy programs, kindergarten readiness, STRIVE for Middle School students, House of Teens for high school students, youth sports, dance and theater., summer camps, Community Health Workers Training Academy and Sexual Assault Crisis services. 

70% of the individuals receiving services are identified as "working poor", living at or below the national poverty level.  FOr this eason, many of our intitiaves are offered on a sliding scale basis, enabling children, teens and parents to access nuturing and enriching programs.
