Patrick was a collegiate ice hockey player in his junior year, when he tragically passed away in March of 2021.  This fund was established to award multiple academic scholarships annually and to support other charitable causes.  To date, we have awarded four scholarships and donated to charities such as, the Special Olympics of NJ, the Children's Specialized Hospital, the American Cancer Society, the Ocean County Library and more.  Our efforts are a way to carry on Patrick's legacy, to honor his genuine willingness to always help others, and his ability to make a positive impact on people's lives.  We are exictied to announce our 2nd annual charity game and gift auction on July 22, 2023 at Winding River Skating Center in Toms River, NJ.  The Patrick Romano Jr Memorial Scholarship Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) making your donation tax deductible,  All proceeds raised will be used to further our mission.
