The 87th Deep Sea Roundup is being held by the Port Aransas Boatmen's Association in Port Aransas, Texas.  The DSR as it is commonly called is the oldest fishing tournament on the Gulf Coast. All funds raised from the tournament go right back into our community through scholarships and commuity events such as project graduation, the library reading program and children's toy drive. PABA is a 501c3 tax exempt entity so your donation is 100% tax deductable. Our tournament draws hundreds of anglers and spectators from around the state of Texas. We host several divisions during the event which include offshore, bay/surf, junior offshore, junior bay/surf, kayak, fly-fish, billfish release, tarpon release and my favorite the piggy perch contest for our youngest of anglers. There is also a trophy given for the top woman angler. The DSR is a family tournament with many families having fished with us for generations. The dates for this years tournament are June 29th - July 2nd 2023.
