The Ve'ahavta Project
Other Event Type for Ve'ahavtaDec 08, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Ve’ahavta is dedicated to promoting positive change in the lives of people of all faiths and backgrounds who have been marginalized by poverty and hardship.
Ve’ahavta believes that every individual possesses unique gifts, and given the right opportunities and supports, will realize their full potential.
Ve’ahavta engages with local and national community agencies and partners to reach the greatest number of individuals and communities possible. Our poverty alleviation programs strive to break down barriers, restore human dignity, foster capacity-building, and empower marginalized individuals to break the cycle of poverty. Ve’ahavta clients include marginalized and at-risk individuals, including those who struggle with homelessness and poverty regardless of origin and background
We are hosting a day of volunteerism on December 8, 2019 and would be grateful for a gift to help support our program and to encourage volunteers to sign up. We will be honouring our volunteers for the work that they do with the vulnerable members of our community.
