Purchase a ticket for NNV's "Tickets for A Cause" and you can win up to 12 fabulous prizes, ranging in value from $200-$2500.  Our Tickets for a Cause gala will be on zoom and will feature Robert Siegel, retired long time host of NPR's "All Things Considered" in an Up Close and Personal conversation. The "Tickets for a Cause" fund-raising goal of $10,000 ensures NNV's trained volunteers can continue to serve our members in a compassionate and thoughtful way, in consonance with NNV's mission and values.

The dollars raised enable NNV to fully train, and background check all our volunteers.

The costs to train and prepare a volunteer for "service" is approximately $100 per person, including required background checks.  Because membership fees only underwrite about 24% of our operations, fund-raising and donation dollars are critical to ensuring this aspect of NNV's operations and success.
