NNV is celebrating its 15th year of ensuring older adults remain independent, active, and connected to their neighbors, community and city.

Volunteers are at the heart of NNV, and provide personal attention and services to our older adults. Volunteers are trained and vetted. Older Adults pay a small membership fee to NNV to receive services, yet more than 40% of our members are fully scholarshipped!

The expenses incurred for volunteer vetting and scholarshipping members are the raison de etre for our annual "Tickets for a Cause" event.  This event is a raffle, where community individuals (there are more than 8500 on our mailing list) purchase tickets- at a cost of $100 a piece, to win extraordinary raffle prices.  This year our top prize will be a e bike or a travel voucher, both valued at over $1,000. There are other prizes as well which include theatre and dining out date nights, cases of wine, museum entrances and more.

This popular event is held over zoom, allowing for participation from anywhere in the country, not just our local neighborhood.
