The mission of the Talley Street Upper Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to provide financial assistance for activities and events that support our school’s expeditionary learning objectives, enrich our school culture, and build a sense of community.  We work hard to support the diverse needs of our nearly 660 students at Talley (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) and the teachers and staff who instruct them.  Talley Upper Elementary School is currently on the list of Georgia Title 1 Schools. 
 
On Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM the Talley Upper Elementary PTO will be holding our annual large scale fundraising event–TigerFest.  TigerFest will spotlight local businesses and vendors and provide a place where families and school staff can gather, eat, socialize, and play.  The money raised during TigerFest will be used by the PTO to help fund student field trips, school events and assemblies, diversity and equity programs, school garden and health/wellness initiatives, teacher appreciation activities, teacher grants, and/or other needs as they arise in our school community.

During TigerFest, the PTO will be selling wristbands for carnival games, bounce houses, and activity stations.  We also plan to have a silent auction of goods, services, and/or experiences for families.  With this in mind, we are reaching out to Atlanta area businesses to see if you would be interested in providing an in-kind donation of a coupon, certificate, gift card, ticket or other item for our silent auction.  Should your organization be able to provide a donation, we would be happy to pick it up at your convenience, or you can mail it to the PTO at the following address:

If you decide to donate, your company name will be listed on signage at the fair, recognizing your contribution to our event. We will also be providing business donor “shout outs” prior to TigerFest on the PTO’s two social media pages.  The Talley Upper Elementary PTO is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization, so your donation is tax deductible.  We can provide our organization’s EIN documentation upon request.
