Description

Trauma Intervention Programs of San Diego is a group of compassionate volunteers who support local community members in crisis. TIP volunteers work closely with the emergency response system and our local first responders including fire, police, paramedics, and hospitals. The majority of calls responded by TIP volunteers are death related when people are living some of the worst moments of their lives. Our highly trained volunteers provide emotional support and practical support to these families as well as assisting first responders to return to services for other emergency incidents.

TIP will be celebrating 39 years of serving San Diego county and will host an event to celebrate the remarkable volunteers that serve our communities. TIP would be so grateful if you will help us show our community volunteers how much they are appreciated. Each volunteer donates 40 hours minimum a month to this program so that someone is available 24/7/365 throughout the county.
