Top City Promise is hosting a fundraising gala event that will help raise much needed funds for under-resourced refugees to become independent, included, empowered, and confident contributors to the community.  Top City Promise will be hosting its fundraising Gala on February 24, 2024 at the Foundry Event Center [400 SW 33rd ST #2209, Topeka KS 66611].  The significance of this date is profound, as it marks exactly two years since the violent invasion of Ukraine, resulting in millions of refugees.  As Top City Promise is run exclusively by volunteers, all money raised will go directly towards the support and benefit of refugees.  Funds will go towards necessities such as:
- funding apartments for up to 3 months
- travel arrangements to help remove refugees from unsafe areas in order to bring them to Topeka
- purchasing basic needs such as clothing, food, and bedding
- covering  medical necessities.
