The Tournament of Valor annual golf tournament will take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club located in New York Mills, NY. Also at the event, there will be a raffle auction. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Sitrin Health Care Center's Military Rehabilitation Program.

Since 2011, the Sitrin Health Care Center’s Military Rehabilitation Program has provided comprehensive, complimentary care to post-9/11 veterans and service members who experience post-traumatic stress, suicidal ideations, depression, and other combat-related conditions. Sitrin’s post-traumatic growth program is unparalleled in that it promotes resilience and reintegration through a variety of treatment regimens that combine traditional therapies (occupational, physical, and aquatic therapies) with individual psychology intervention, group therapy and family integration therapy, physical readiness training, adaptive sports, polarity therapy, and biofeedback. Sitrin also utilizes complementary and integrative therapies, such as dance/movement therapy, equine-assisted therapy, therapeutic gardening, and planned helpfulness.

Another component of Sitrin’s Military Program is the Military-Civilian Coalition designed to promote camaraderie, advocacy, educational opportunities, and transitional support to civilian life. This program enables veterans and civilians to interact through social and athletic endeavors, such as fly fishing, TRX Suspension Training, biking, golfing, Paleo cooking classes, therapeutic hand drumming, wheelchair basketball, and more.

In addition to utilizing a traditional clinical setting, veterans engage in numerous activities at Camp Sitrin located in Frankfort, NY. This 142-acre site provides a unique and serene environment that maximizes the positive benefits of ecotherapy (nature-based healing). Here, veterans engage in a multitude of outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, fishing, and gardening. Sitrin recently created a Cabin Community on the property to allow veterans to engage in indoor activities as well as enjoy overnight stays. This community enables veterans to come together with other veterans, share experiences, provide support, make friendships, and bond with other families. Furthermore, Camp Sitrin serves as host to the Annual Warrior Retreat. Here, each summer, veterans and their families spend a weekend engaging in many social, physical and family activities, team-building experiences, and emotional and spiritual healing.

The Tournament of Valor event serves as a major fundraiser for Sitrin's Military Rehabilitation Program and ensures that post-9/11 veterans receive the care they need and deserve.
