Treasures by the Sea is the annual fundraiser for the Assistance League of Huntington Beach (ALHB).  This event will be a hybrid, with an online auction March 24, 2022-March 26, 2022.  This will be combined with a gala event on March 26, 2022 at a local resort.

ALHB serves the cities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley and Westminster in Orange County, CA.  Our fundraiser plays a significant role in funding our philanthropies, the biggest of which are:

• Operation School Bell - provides school clothing, school supplies and personal hygiene items to elementary through high school students who come from low income families or who are currently homeless.
• Scholarships - ALHB offers scholarships to veterans and low income single parents attending local colleges, as well as scholarships to the Huntington Beach Therapeutic Riding Center, and to veterans attending the Golden West Regional Criminal Justice Training Center.
• Support Our Seniors - We partner with case managers at the Senior Center in Huntington Beach to provide grocery cards, transportation vouchers, in home safety devices and needed in home items to low income seniors.

Included as part of our silent auction will be baskets that contain gift certificates and items emphasizing 3 categories: Family Fun; Beach Time; and Global Destinations. We are seeking gift certificates to restaurants, amusement parks, hotels for these baskets.

The gala event will include opportunity tickets for 3 vignettes, the silent auction (baskets per above, jewlery, crystal, home goods), a super aution  titled "experiences" (TBD), as well as a "buy and carry" section.  It will be an afternoon event at the Hilton Resort in Huntington Beach, which overlooks the ocean.  Outdoor table seating for charcuterie and bar drinks will be available to attendees.  We will sell 400 tickets for this event (the online participation is free).
