Description

The Main Event is TXTA Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year, ensuring the Foundation can continue its mission of funding educational opportunities and community programs to enhance the understanding and image of the trucking industry. The event is held yearly on the first night of TXTA's Annual Conference, with this year's event taking place at Horseshoe Bay Resort.

Each year, between 300-400 attendees participate in The Main Event to raise money for the TXTA Foundation. We raise money by hosting a live and silent auction, a raffle, paddles up event and additional activities. In addition to fundraising, we honor one deserving individual each year with the Kay Crimm Award. This award is presented to someone that has gone above and beyond to help the Foundation.

The trucking industry is the heart and soul of the supply chain, transporting everything from food and medicine to game day equipment that makes your favorite sports games possible. These are some of the hardest working women and men in the country. And it’s not just the truck drivers, it’s the entire industry. Mechanics, office personnel, dock workers and more all work together to keep the supply chain moving. TXTA Foundation allows us to give back to these men and women and their families by helping to alleviate the financial burden associated with higher education or attending trade/technical school.

We are excited to celebrate the trucking industry and its contributions to our great country this summer in Horseshoe Bay!
