As the number one signifier of a healthy community, support of the arts greatly impacts the overall quality of life by strengthening us socially, educationally, and economically—benefits that persist even in difficult social and economic times. The arts are a fundamental expression of our humanity and help us unite and invigorate this amazing community. 40 North will once again produce an elegant and creative mixture of art and performance at a one-of-a-kind event on Friday, February 23, 2024 where guests can enjoy an exceptional evening while helping support the arts in Champaign County. 

With our mission of “cultivating creativity in Champaign County,” 40 North is dedicated to fueling the growth and well-being of our community by nurturing its arts, culture and education through advocacy, collaboration and information. 40 North’s efforts continue to grow in both scope and impact with programs such as the Eric Show, a county-wide high school art competition, Friday Night Live, our weekly summer performance series, Poetry Out Loud, a poetry recitation competition, both the Crystal Lake Park Art Fair and WestSide Arts, featuring artists in beautiful local park settings, Sky Gallery, MTD ART, the brand new Fall Fusion Festival, Public Art League, as well as the Boneyard Arts Festiva
