The event is for the annual Van Wert County Fair Free Entertainment Fundraising Auction that will be held on May 20, 2019.  The fundraising goal will be at $7500 and attendance goal at 125.  We have raised over $48,000 since we have started to conduct this auction, which totally funds this program for the annual county fair.  Free entertainment are acts and entertainment that is available for the price of admission into the annual county fair.  This is essential for us to continue to provide value for our fair attendees and supporters with and through this program.  High, quality family entertainment has helped us improve the fair's attendance, allowing the fair to support various service clubs and groups, youth organizations, among other community related activites that depend on and benefit from the annual fair.  A strong county fair is a symbol of vitality for rural America today and helps to create a sense of pride within the given community.  In the past donations have came from local and national businesses, sports organizations, entertainment attractions, celebrity and sports personalities, musicians, among others.  This helps to build a unique auction inventory of items, ranging from merchandise to gift certificates, free attendance or tickets to attractions or events, or other items that help build the auction each and every year.  Should a donation be made, it will be announced day of the event by the auctioneer, listing on fair website and social media sites, auction items lists, annual fairbook publication, among other ways to show the donation and appreciation.  We hope that you will feel this will be a great way to help support our community and its members and rural America, possibly increasing local customer base, provide some quality advertising and promotion, and participate in an effort that will help bring memories to all.  Thank you in advance for your consideration and your time.  I do hope to hear back from you and will be adding your company or organization as a possible donor for our annual event.
