Visit Our Website"The object of this society shall be to illustrate our wealth of thought, to be a school of progress for better acquaintance of our citizenship, and for the general advancement and pleasant entertainment of the general public." We are responsible for supporting and organizing the local county fair as well as providing organizational support to the various youth groups and clubs that are affiliated with the county fair. Our website is www.vanwertcountyfair.com We support other organizations to help them out when the need arises-through donations of items, discounts on rental fees, or take into consideration what is requested of the society. We are currently conducting a fundraising auction to help raise funding to be able to continue to provide free entertainment during the county fair. This provides more for the price of admission thus allowing fair to be successful and the society to be able to support the community and the area youth and their organizations.
