Vaughn Fest which will be held on Saturay, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Vaughn Occupational High School, 4355 North Linder Avenue, Chicago, Il 60641. 

Vaughn Fest is a weekend event for Vaughn Alumni, students, families and community.  At Vaughn Fest students art will be available for purchase.  Culinary students will sell gormet food items they have made to sample.  Vaughn musicans and dancers will perform.  Raffle tickets for 50/50 and raffle baskets.  Online aution available for items as well.  All donations go directly back to students!

We have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 in order to purchase the following:

• assistive technology and online programs to support learning.
• Costs to visit job-training sites as well as community-based instruction (e.g. transportation, grocery store gift cards for practiviing mal prep)
• Materials for in-school businesses that allow students to build job skills and be ready for training in the community.
• scholarships for students who need financial assistance to participate in extracurricular activities.  

There are a number of ways that you can assist us in helping us reach our goal:

• Donate goods or services such as gift cards/gift certificates to be used as raffle items.
• Make a contributuion via check to "Friends of Vaughn" with "Vaughn Fest" in the memo.  
• Contact the school to inquire other ways your business might be able to support school.
