At Ventura County Bomberos, we seek to financially support individuals to pursue their dream to become a fire worker. Whether the financial support will be for structural academy, wildland academy or an EMT class, this non-profit is seeking to break financial barriers for those interested in becoming the newest first responders in Ventura County.

Most people are unaware, but the cost to attend a college fire academy can be around $4,000 to $6,000 and paramedic school can be as much as $15,000. With the high cost of schooling, you can see how the opportunities for kids from lower socioeconomic areas, despite their passion for a career in the fire service, just aren’t there. Ventura County Bomberos want to show our future generations that there is an avenue to better their lives and reach their full potential.   

On July 29, 2023 we are planning to host our Inaugural Cornhole Tournament event. At this event, we are hoping to raise awareness about our cause and raise money to help support our scholarships program.

However, we think our efforts would go even farther with You as an official sponsor.

In this role, your business would provide a monetary or in-kindvdonation, and in turn your generosity will be publicly acknowledged as the event’s official sponsor on our website and social media platforms where our following is continuously growing.  Our public acknowledgement will demonstrate to our scholarship recipients and community members your commitment to building a safer community and supporting the dreams of aspiring firefighters and emergency medical professionals.
