The VIMY Awards & Live Auction is a signature event reflective of the extraordinary people who populate the Palm Springs area. Because of who we are, we recognized the need to honor a significant contributor to healthcare in our Coachella Valley and beyond.
Our 2023 VIMY Honoree is Howard Lincoln whose vision is to help provide life-changing programs addressing needs and providing solutions for the impoverished and homeless in the Coachella Valley.

We are excited to announce we will have entertainment by the Mockingbird Hitmaker’s Series which includes, Clay Mills, Anthony Smith and Brett Jones – this musical series includes intimate performances with some of Nashville’s best and prolific award-winning songwriters, telling the stories behind their hits and performing as originally written. We are putting together some exclusive experiences – where can you bid on a dinner in your home prepared by our emcee Patrick Evans and Howard Lincoln!

The net proceeds from this event benefit Volunteers in Medicine. We provide a local solution to a national problem. We offer medical services at no cost to adults in the Coachella Valley who have no insurance. As a community safety net, our clinic treats the whole person by addressing chronic diseases (like high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis), acute conditions (colds, flu), preventive medicine, diet, and emotional health. VIM is a member of Volunteers in Medicine, a national nonprofit alliance with more than 90 free clinics across the U.S., whose mission is to provide healthcare services in a compassionate, caring way to our neighbors in need.
