The Vine & Dine Gala is a fundraising event to support the programming Ability Connection provides all year for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ability Connection’s mission is to enrich the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through individual, comprehensive, life-changing care, training, and support. We believe a disability is a naturally occurring part of life, not a defining characteristic. Disability exists when there is a gap between a person’s capacity and the demands of a situation - be it living, working, or enjoying the community. Ability Connection’s purpose is to fill that gap by providing training and necessary support for each person, based on individual choices and interests.

We provide residential housing, therapies, life skills training and case management to make sure all the member's needs are met.
