Vista Grande is a public elementary school located near downtown Danville, CA.  The purpose of our auction is to fund programs for our children that are no longer funded by the State of California.  These programs include classroom paraeducators (teacher assistants), art, music, and technology. 

Falcon Fund was founded in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to enhance the quality of education for Vista Grande students.  Vista Grande’s classroom paraeducators provide targeted reading, writing, and math support to students. Our art, music, and technology classes give children opportunities to try new activities that may not strictly fit into the curriculum, but positively impact student attendance, motivation, performance, and critical thinking skills.  

The cost to provide this programming is $197,000/year.  Half our annual revenue is raised through direct donations from Vista Grande families.  The rest of our revenue is raised through fundraisers, the largest of which is our school auction. Our online auction is scheduled from April 20-27th and our silent/live auction dinner will be held on May 7at the Blackhawk Museum.

Recognition and exposure at the live auction where we expect ~300 attendees
