It's the 23rd Annual Walk on Erie Street Charity Event (progressive dinner in Little Italy/Via Italia)  for 1200 families caring for children with disabilities in Windsor/Essex County.

Family Respite Services hosts this event to respond to the urgent respite need across Windsor/Essex County.

This is an evening of food and fun as 400 people start at St. Angela's Hall for appetizers and then break off into groups to visit 3 participating restaurants, then walk back to St. Angela's Hall for dessert. A flavour bursting small plate event to make an impact for children with significant challenges.

Every dollar raised from this event will ensure that trained support providers can meet the needs of children in the family home and in the community. Over 600 Direct Support Providers work with Family Respite Services.

Proceeds will provide families access for respite programs so that they can recharge their batteries and children can engage in meaningful activities through afterschool programs, full weekend programs and specialized summer day camps.

We have a silent auction table of 100 items, so this is a wonderful opportunity for advertising, while helping families in crisis.
