The Washburn Arts Council is hosting its annual fundraising silent auction and student arts showcase at St. Mary’s Event Center on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. The Washburn Whirl is a much-loved event that helps fund band, orchestra, choir, visual arts, theater and Black Box social justice theater at Washburn High School. The Washburn Arts Council believes in the power of the arts to inspire, captivate, and transform our students and the community.

Our goal is to ensure that Washburn’s Performing and Visual Arts programs can sustain a meaningful learning environment even after drastic budget cuts. We believe it is the responsibility of ALL of us to ensure that our students have exposure and access to the arts.
