The Washburn Arts Council (WAC) is a committed group of parent advocates who partner with Washburn faculty to support all Washburn Arts programs. We organize fundraising efforts, build community relationships, and raise recognition about the value of arts.
Our goal is to ensure that Washburn’s Performing and Visual Arts programs can sustain a meaningful learning environment even after drastic budget cuts. We believe it is the responsibility of ALL of us to ensure that our students have exposure and access to the arts. To succeed, we depend on the support and generosity of wonderful community partners like you. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to providing the best performing and visual arts education to Washburn High School students.
WAC has purchsed such things as new pottery wheels, basic school supplies like canvas and paint, as well as new guitars for the guitar classes.
