In August of 2023, Meals on Whells of Long Beach (MOWLB) is hosting our annual 'Wheels for Meals Car Show Fundraiser', the proceeds of which will go toward funding our home-delivered meal program. MOWLB provides freshly prepared and packaged meals to extremely low-income and homebound seniors, veterans, and disabled persons, all delivered with a friendly visit and daily wellness check. This event has a fundraising goal of $15,000 and we plan to acknowledge all donars (sponsors, item donors, or otherwise) verbally and with signage at the event as well as in social media annd electronic messenger posts to the MOWLB network.
