As a registered charity, we receive no government funding and rely on donations and our auctions to bridge the gap between adoption fees and medical bills. In the first eight months of 2023, we have incurred vet bills of approximately $150,000, which includes extensive medical bills for several moms and their babies, and at least six senior cats. We have four senior cats all requiring dental care, in addition to the numerous kittens recently born that will require full vetting, including spays/neuters. And the busiest time of the year (kitten season) is barely half way over! Year-to-date, we have had 240 adoptions, which equals $59,000 in adoption fees. 

In order to subsidize and continue our rescue activities, we are holding an online auction November 12th-20th, 2023. This semi-annual online auction is one of our largest and most important fundraisers and has historically drawn over 500 bidders and participants. We are looking for local establishments to support our rescue with a donation of gift cards, products or services.
