Robert Louis Stevenson (RLS) is a San Francisco central Sunset district public K-5 elementary school serving students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. More than 50% of our student body comes from underserved or low-income families. RLS consistently ranks among the top elementary schools in the district, achieving "Distinguished" status from the CA dept of education - only one of five such designated schools in all the SFUSD. Our success is owed to the generous support from our dedicated teachers, involved parents, and caring community. 

As you may know, the SFUSD has had significant budget challenges in recent years, leading to resourcing challenges and closures of some San Francisco public schools. Fortunately for RLS, our beloved school is not facing closure; however, the PTA is tasked with closing a $200K budget gap to maintain the high quality of education. These funds include: 

• Salary for a technology paraeducator (aide) 

Salary for an english language learners paraeducator 

Salary for a student advisor/attendance liaison 

Field trips, supply stipends, puberty health education, and more 

For our upcoming Winterfest Auction fundraiser we need your help with donations! 

Examples of donations include: 

Merchandise e.g. artwork, pottery, jewelry, wine, technology, etc. 

Gift cards redeemable at your business 

Experiences e.g. Vouchers for summer camps, child's birthday party, music lessons, etc. 

The deadline to donate is Friday, 11/22. The auction opens 12/2 and closes at RLS Winterfest 12/13.
