RISE stands for Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem and Empowerment.
It is the juvenile court mentoring program for at-risk youth in Arlington County and the City of Falls Church. RISE is a program within the Arlington County Government Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and our participants are youth identified as at risk of involvement in the juvenile court system either by school staff, police or concerned citizens.
Mentors and mentees attend monthly in-person simple but thoughtful events at different sites around Arlington, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C., to offer mentees exposure to new and positive experiences and bonding opportunities with their mentors.
