Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is fueled by a mission “to nurture strong minds, healthy bodies, and community spirit through youth driven, quality programming in safe and fun environments” to ensure every child has a positive place to spend their out-of-school-time hours.
Through a combination of after-school, weekend, and summer camp programs Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South serves boys and girls ages 4 to 18 at our Brockton and Taunton Clubhouses, Camp Riverside, and at several community-based extension sites throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Our ultimate goal is to help young people reach their full potential and to do so we implement Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s “Formula for Impact” model to help drive three primary outcomes for our youth: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and the development of Good Character and Leadership skills. Our Clubs offer what young people need and want most - adults who respect and listen to them; safe environments where they can have fun and be themselves; and engaging programs that help set them on the path to a great future.
