California Waterfowl is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to grow California's waterfowl popluations, wetlands and hunter-conservationist communities.

California Waterfowl has been at the forefront of efforts to protect and restore wetlands, marshes and other important habitats for waterfowl and other wildlife.  One of the most successful programs is the Wetlands Restoration Project, which focuses on rehabilitating and preserving wetlands.  Our work focuses on both breeding and wintering habitat. These efforts have not only benefitted waterfowl and other wildlife but have also helped improve water quality and reduce erosion. 

California Waterfowl also trains and mentors youth, hunters and non-hunters about waterfowl and wetland ecology and the hunters' role in conservation.
