At Charlestown Playhouse, we believe that it is through play and active involvement with real materials that children learn best about themselves and their world. We are a non-profit preschool that has been serving the community for over 75 years. The preschool is a co-op so parents are actively involved in the day to day activities at the school as well as the school maintenance.

The school has been an integral part of the community for over 75 years bringing families and children together in a wonderful, pressure-free learning environment. The school focuses on fostering kindness between all friends and gives children a great foundation for developing empathy, kindness and feeling empowered.
