At the Children's Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana, we interview and advocate for children who have been sexually or physically abused and/or are witnesses to violent crimes. Before CACs were used, children would have to tell their story of trauma to many people in order to get help. Now, because of organizations like ours, we are able to provide free forensic interviews allowing children to begin their healing journey sooner. After interviews, we also help children and their non-offending families with resources to ensure their needs are met.
