The mission of the CoxHealth Foundation (CHF) is to facilitate thorugh philanthropy the quality health care, education and research provided by CoxHealth.
CoxHealth Foundation serves our patients in four primary ways- 1. Support for indigent care- CHF offers financial grants for medical bills, therapies, inpatient care etc. where a patient has no other access to care and would do without care, the grant helps reduce all barriers to care. 2. Special medical needs- CHF helps provide for the special medical needs of patients where there are no other resources and where the special need will hinder the patients return to good health. This could be special medications, lymphedema garments, nutritional supplements, mastectomy supplies, anti-nausea medications and so much more. 3. Technology-CHF helps patients acquire the technology needed to ensure their journey back to good health. CHF also assists with capital equipment that will serve a large population of patients in SW MO and ensure care can be provided close to home. 4. Community health improvement through program support like the CHAPPS program-Cox Health Advanced Practice Paramedics who go out and make house calls on patients who are unable to come to their physician, or for at risk patients who need support following discharge from the hospital. The CoxHealth Foundation also helps support youth entering health professions through scholarships.
