Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre (CABLC) is a not-for-profit registered charity with a vision to create a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals with varying developmental abilities embrace a love of life, a love of learning and lifelong friendships.
Our mission as an organization; "exists to create and sustain, through compassionate dedicated staff,
- Programs to develop life skills in participants;
- Social and welcoming environments in which meaningful relationships and friendships are developed; and,
- Inclusive community experiences"
After the age of 21, students no longer have their education funded by the Ministry of Education. Upon reaching 21, their educational opportunities end. CABLC has filled this void for our 20 years by establishing innovative programs that provide continued learning, skill development, socialization opportunities, employment training, and volunteer opportunities. Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre receives no government funding to offer these programs. The organization is funded by tuition, grants, donations, and fundraising.
20 years ago, CABLC opened its doors with two staff and 10 participants. Now, we continue to provide enhanced and innovative programming to 90+ participants.
