We are seeking your support as an auction item donor for an event benefiting the Disaster Recovery International (DRI) Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 corporation. The auction benefit reception will be held during our annual conference at Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

We promote disaster risk reduction awareness through partnerships and education, and aid recovery efforts through fundraising and volunteerism. This year alone we've supported hurricane, flood, earthquake and other relief efforts in Alabama, Nebraska, Ohio, Texas, India, Sierra Leone, and Zimbabwe.  Our programs include:

  • The Women in Business Continuity Management Committeewas formed to bring women together to forge strong personal networks and assist women in advancing within their chosen fields, and to explore and recommend specific actions and strategies to serve the needs of women in these professions.

  • The Veterans Outreach Program Committeeawarded over 100 scholarships to veterans to be trained and certified by DRI International so they might transition from military life into professions such as emergency response, crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery--in other words free education, certification and job placement for Veterans.

  • DRI2019 Volunteer Day: DRI Foundation volunteers sorted 6,000 pounds of food for Veterans. Efforts included reorganizing and restoring a commercial laundry room, a maintenance room, 2 paint rooms and 4 conex’s. We also cleaned more than 275 windows and moved 50 heavy commercial carpets which were no longer in use.

Here’s how you can help:

Please consider donating an auction item, of which 100% of the proceeds will benefit this very worthy cause. Items of interest include:

In return for your generosity, we would like to publicly recognize your tax-deductible contribution at the event, on our website and other materials.  Please send your item by December 15, 2019 to:
