Since 1981, Embrave Agency to End Violence has worked to create a future without gender-based violence in the Region of Peel. With the support of a caring community, we have supported more than 50,000 survivors and their children. In this past year alone, Embrave was able to achieve the following thanks to the unwavering commitment of supporters like you:
• Safely shelter 155 survivors and their 104 children in our emergency
shelters and successfully help them to transition to safety and housing
• Respond to 1,497 crisis calls, providing survivors with counselling,
support, and information
• Counsel and support 581 survivors living in abusive homes to safely leave
and plan for safe permanent housing
