The Purpose of the Fitzhugh HSA is to promote the welfare of children in home, school and community, and to bring into closer relation the home and school so that every child has the opportunity for good physical, mental and social growth. Our organization encourages parental and staff involvement, and cooperation in meeting school needs and goals.
The Fitzhugh HSA provides funds to enrich the learning and social well-being of the school's students. 100% of money raised during the school year goes to the general fund, unless otherwise noted. These funds are designated for Battle of the Books, Spelling Bee, 6th Grade Recognition, Yearbook, PBIS celebrations, playground renovations, Spring Family Carnival, Care and Share program, field trips, classroom supplies, Arts & Musical performances, assemblies, support of Leader in Me, Teacher Appreciation event, school decorations and so much more.
