The Francis Field Youth Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that oversees the Francis Field fairgrounds in New Lenox. This 17-acre facility was donated in 1958 for the community to use for youth and family-oriented events and since then has been named an Illinois Historic Landmark. Our goal at FFYF has always been to keep this unique, historic “green space” useful and preserved for the youth of Will County and their families. We strive to support other non-for-profit groups and try to make the field house and fairgrounds available to them whenever possible. We also award a scholarship each year to deserving high school graduates. The Francis Field Youth Foundation is run entirely by volunteers, and the operating costs of the facility are paid for by the profits from benefit shows, events, and donations.
