We began as a unit within the police department to help a very dear friend suffering from cancer. With the support of the community, we were able to help our friend in his fight against cancer.
The Garland Police Never Walk Alone Foundation provides support; including financial
support for medical treatment, travel and lodging assistance, and mental and physical support in the home for officers in medical crisis.
We eventually saw a need to expand in order to fully assist our entire organization. Our services include being advocates for mental and physical needs for all employees and their immediate families in times of need.
