Gilda’s Club Rochester, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, is a nonprofit dedicated to making sure no one faces cancer alone. Anyone affected by cancer – as well as their family and friends – can receive non-medical, emotional, and social support through the organization’s over 1,000 free programs. Gilda’s programs and resources benefit men, women, teens, and children affected by any type of cancer.
Our evidence-based programming – provided at no cost – includes support groups, health and wellness workshops, healing arts, social activities, educational lectures, and community-resource information.
We build community, so we can take on cancer together.
Our missiong is to create welcoming communities of no cost support to those living with cancer – men, women, teens and children – along with their families and friends. Our innovative program is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities.
