The Gilroy Police Foundation serves the unmet needs of the Gilroy Police Department. Since our inception in 2015 some of the items we have been able to fund that were not possible through the city budget include: Three K9s, K9 bulletproof vests, custom saddles for the mounted unit replacing 25 year old saddles, medical packs for each patrol car, wraps for three school resource vehicles, two drones, CSI cameras, sponsorship of Coffee with a Cop, sponsorship of National Night Out, scholarships for low income high performing students, and Christmas with a Cop for low income children.
