HAST Misison Statement:
"We build skills for swimming, winning, and life." Providing a safe, positive environment for all swimmers, while working towards building a strong, healthy team.
HAST Competitive Swim Team
Welcomes swimmers of all ability levels
Offers instruction/training for children 6yrs and up
All competition is based on age and ability (1-2 x monthly)
A sanctioned USA Swim Team and a member of Minnesota Swimming, Inc.
Competes against other USA Teams around the twin cities, state, and Midwest.
Is non-profit (501C-3) corporation
Coach directed and supported by a parent board
"I Love to Swim" Lesson Program
This program will improve your child's fitness level, build self-confidence and enhance swimming skills. The HAST ILTS lesson program offers 5 levels, this progression leads to the HAST Competitive Team. Children going through all 5 levels become strong swimmers regardless if they choose to become a competitive swimmer.
Lessons for kids 3 years and older, must be potty trained

All classes are held at the Hastings MS Pool. This program is built around learning and growing, not just for the students, but for the young teachers as well. The HAST coaches teach the sharks class and supervise and mentor the teenagers who teach most of these lessons.
