Jacob's House was established as a non-profit 501(c)(3) in 2007 and held it’s grand opening in September 2013. Through Jacob's House, we service the overall community by providing the necessities of a home-away-from-home to all individuals/families (free from discrimination or required attendance/participation to political, religious or social activities, or income/insured status) referred by a local Hospital. To service families in need, Jacob's House purchased and utilizes an existing 3,500 sq. ft. home. To date, since our grand opening, Jacob's House has provided the necessities of home for 1171 guests, and has supported families from over 42+ different States and 12 countries.
Jacob's House is a home of refuge where families and loved ones of those in hospitalized traumatic medical need can find hope, comfort, peace and inspiration. We are a community resource dedicated to serving families in crisis. We do this by providing a shelter for the physical, emotional and spiritual support.
