JCAN adocates and fundraises for culturally relevant care, programs and services for seniors. Compared to other groups, seniors from the Black community experience more inequities and disparities in our healthcare system. This group is at greater risk and need help. JCAN is committed to advocating for seniors from the Black community by raising funds to support programs and resources, purchase of a community space to offer specialized programs for at-risk seniors from Black communities, and owning ad operating a seniors home to deliver culturally relevant care.
