I am writing today on behalf of the J.Y. Joyner Foundation to ask you to help support our children, our school and our community. We have our Spring Fundraising event on May 2nd and hope to include an item from you in our silent auction. It is our goal to raise $100,000.
Founded in the 2015 school year, the J.Y. Joyner Foundation provides support to the faculty, staff and students at J.Y. Joyner Elementary School. The money raised by the Foundation provides salaries for positions in danger of elimination due to the loss of State funding. Since its inception, through the generosity of Joyner families and community businesses, the Foundation has been able to help fund positions for teacher’s assistants, Spanish teachers and Technology teachers.
With your generous donation, the Foundation will be able to continue its commitment to Joyner’s academic excellence. Each contribution goes a long way in helping us reach our fundraising goals. Please consider donating an item today!
