The LHS Band Parents Association sponsors our young musicians during the year with a variety of fundraising efforts. Our goal is to maintain the highest level of excellence in musical performance and presentation that our students have come to demand of themselves by funding uniforms, summer band camps, music and marching clinics, staff, and field show expenses for the band’s 100+ members. These expenses can add up to over $80,000 a season. The Annual Jazz Band Dinner Dance Benefit is our flagship fundraising event. In addition to dinner and dancing, we host raffles during the evening, including the famous Top Hat area. Your contribution to our 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization is tax deductible as provided by law, and you will receive a receipt. Your company will be recognized at the event to the more than 600 attendees, and we will also recognize your company on the event Facebook page.
