The mission of Literacy Green Bay is to help adults and families acquire the reading, writing, math, English language, computer, and workforce skills they need to be fully functioning community members.

With our partners, we build a community literate in the English language!

Literacy Green Bay offers English Language Learning (ELL) classes, Family Literacy Classes, and Adult Tutoring.  The Children First Family Literacy program is a GED program in collaboration with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and the Howe Community Resource Center, which provides GED instruction as well as early childhood learning, parenting, and Parent and Child Together (PACT) time.  Students in our Adult Tutoring program work one-on-one with volunteer tutors on goals that are specific to their needs (i.e. improving basic reading skills, speaking better English, studying for GED).
