The Nelson Parent Teacher Club (PTC) is an organization of volunteer parents and staff. Its role is to encourage closer links between home and school and to raise money to benefit the students of Nelson Elementary.
The Nelson PTC raises money to benefit Nelson Elementary by providing funding for library books, Accelerated Reading Program, teacher supplies, field trips, sports uniforms/equipment, and computer lab expenses. Various extracurricular activities including: Robotics, Destination Imagination, Peach Blossom, Drama, Choir, and Oral Interpretation are also supported by the Parent Teacher Club.
