PRIDE of Ticonderoga is a non-profit organization established in 1984 for the purpose of connecting and enhancing the community through housing restoration, downtown revitalization, historic preservation, and community development programs.
PRIDE is committed to addressing economic disparities, and we are energized about moving forward with our housing programs, downtown revitalization, historic preservation projects, and economic development initiatives that will genuinely improve many people’s lives in our area. We try to provide various options for individuals and businesses to invest in our organization each year.
Since 1984, PRIDE has been awarded over 14 million dollars in grants for housing, economic development, and historic preservation programs. PRIDE of Ticonderoga is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
During PRIDE’s 38 year tenure, we have worked in administrative partnership with local, regional, state, and federal governmental agencies. PRIDE also effectually partners with local community-based organizations, business groups, and residents to identify: specific local revitalization need, evaluate funding options, prepare funding applications, assist with fundraising, and effect community change through project and program implementation.
PRIDE of Ticonderoga is a New York State Rural Preservation Company. PRIDE relies on annual operating support from New York State Homes and Community Renewal, technical assistance contracts, consultant services, grant administration income, and membership contributions to carry out its mission driven goals.
